A Tacoma native, Dr. Larson earned his dental degree in 1983 from Northwestern University Dental School in Chicago; he completed two additional years of training there to become a prosthodontist, a specialist in replacing missing teeth and restoring broken chewing systems.
Over the past 27 years, his career has included continuing education at very notable institutions:
- the Kois Center, a world renown advanced restorative and implant dentistry training center, where he also instructs; and
- the Ickert Teaching Center, a world class advanced dental curriculum that trains dentists the art of restoration and placement of implants.
To keep up with the latest dental advances, Dr. Larson participates in several study clubs. He is a member of DOCS, the Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation. He has been a guest lecturer at the Pierce County Dental Society, Young Dentists of Pierce County, The Chicago Dental Society, and the Kois Symposium.
